Leading switch and sensor solution manufacturer Honeywell Sensing and Control has honored two top distributors with business achievement awards for 2014.
For the third straight year, Honeywell named Mouser Electronics its Americas’ Catalog Distributor of the Year. The award recognizes Mouser for having the fastest and most effective new product launches, the largest increase in new Honeywell customers, maintaining the largest stock of Honeywell products, and producing the greatest increase in sales.
Honeywell also awarded Allied Electronics, a trading brand of Electrocomponents plc, with its Silver Award for Distributor of the Year. The award recognizes Allied for reaching and/or exceeding sales goals, year-over-year growth in the sale of Honeywell products, the quality and execution of a focused marketing plan, and the ability to capture new customers.
Electrocomponents plc/Allied ranked 5th and Mouser ranked 9th on Global Purchasing 2014 list of the Top 50 Electronics Distributors. Global Purchasing’s 2015 list of the Top 50 Electronics Distributors will be published in May.
