Some of the industry’s top electronic components distributors received top honors from their suppliers recently.
Master Electronics received a Distributor of the Year award from C&K Components. The company was recognized in C&K’s broad line distributor category for the second consecutive year, honored for growing sales and customers in 2015.
“Master continues to lead our channel in terms of sales growth and investment. Their commitment to the C&K line is apparent, and their enthusiasm to promote C&K as the switch of choice to our customers is greatly appreciated,” said Phillip Gerard, vice president of sales and general manager, Americas.
Distributor Kensington Electronics received a Distributor of the Year award from Smiths Connectors. Kensington was recognized for its sales growth, demand creation, and supply channel fulfillment.
“I’m honored to be recognized by the Smiths’ team,” said Casey Donovan Cavender, Kensington’s vice president of sales and operations. “Our sales team works hard on our Smiths’ partnership and design opportunities; they all deserve this award.”
Montreal-based distributor Future Electronics was named Distributor of the Year by Panasonic. This is the second straight year Future has received the award since beginning its partnership with Panasonic Industrial Devices Sales Company of America three years ago. The award recognizes Future’s growth performance, marketing activity and performance, ease of doing business, inventory activity, field engagement, and product engagement.
Texas-based distributor TTI, Inc. was awarded a 2015 Distributor of the Year award from Bourns, global manufacturer of electronic components. The annual award is presented to Bourns’ top-performing distribution partner for providing “exceptional service coupled with enhanced customer engagement and proven revenue growth,” the company said. TTI also received the 2015 Best Global Performance Award from Amphenol. The award was given jointly to TTI and its sister company Mouser Electronics; both companies also won Amphenol’s Best 2015 Asian Performance and Best 2015 European Performance awards.
