Massachusetts-based distributor Sager Electronics announced the launch of a specialized business group focused on power supply solutions. Sager Power Systems brings together the company’s recent efforts to expand its power supply offering and broaden its reach to new and existing customers.
Sager expanded its power supply offering in early 2014 through a combination of new lines and a dedicated field application team. In June 2014, the distributor further expanded with the acquisition of PowerGate LLC, a North American power specialty company.
“The newly created Sager Power Systems group provides customers all of the benefits of a leading distributor with a specific focus on power,” Frank Flynn, Sager president, said in announcing the launch. “This dedicated team of highly trained, technically experienced professionals provides our customers an unparalleled level of technical knowledge to leverage our broad offering of world class power supply manufacturers.”
The group is comprised of power systems sales engineers, field application engineers, and inside sales specialists that work with customers in selecting and designing power products. Sager offers more than 15,000 AC/DC and DC/DC standard solutions from leading power supply manufacturers.
