Mouser Electronics, Inc. announced the launch of its new Wireless Charging Technology site. The site allows OEMs and third-party designers alike to choose the ideal wireless charging semiconductor and passive components for their next project based on the Qi (pronounced “Chee”) global wireless charging standard, developed by Wireless Power Consortium. Qi products are interoperable, allowing users to charge any Qi-compliant device in the wireless charging range of any Qi charger.
Mouser’s Wireless Charging Technology site also features technical articles exploring the latest trends in the wireless charging industry. Future updates include A4WP—a magnetic field based power charging station allowing multiple devices to be charged by one transmitter.
In September, Mouser expanded its Automotive Applications site which aimed to serve engineers working in the quickly evolving electric vehicle market. A similar expansion of its Computing Applications site was done this past month. The site offers information on server motherboard, network attached storage, Ethernet switch, and more. Like the new Wireless Charging Technology site, these updates are in line with the distributor’s ongoing efforts to expand its resources and keep up with a growing and changing market, the company says.
