Newark element14 has moved its headquarters in Chicago from Ravenswood to the West Loop. The new downtown location is in the ideal for attracting and retaining the best tech and engineering professionals, the company said. The office layout was developed with the help of architect Solomon Cordwell Buenx (SCB) and resembles an electronic circuit board—a symbol of the company’s products.
The company sold its previous office in Ravenswood in May 2014. The new location, at 300 S. Riverside Plaza—Suite 2200, totals 65,000 square feet. Its 350 Chicago-based employees have been transferred to the building, occupying all of the 22nd and part of the 23rd floors. The new downtown location will strengthen the company’s presence, company officials say.
