The Electronic Components Industry Association announced that former Marine and attorney Justin Constantine will be a key presenter at this fall’s Executive Conference, scheduled for October 25-27 at Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel. Constantine will discuss the value and challenges of effective leadership along with the benefits of working with the Hiring Our Heroes program, which aims to help veterans, service members, and their spouses find career opportunities.
Constantine survived a gunshot wound to the head while serving in Iraq in 2006. Today, he serves as a liaison between the corporate and military communities, speaking to audiences nationwide and serving as a senior adviser to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes campaign.
In its announcement, ECIA referred to Constantine as a true American hero and praised his ability to address the importance of strong and effective leadership in the corporate community.
“Justin spent 16 years in the Marine Corps and understands the value and challenges of effective leadership,” ECIA said in its August announcement. “Taking care of your people has to be your number one priority, and Justin's lessons apply directly to any corporation focused on winning in today's market. He will share his story of how with one bullet, his life changed drastically and by all objective measures he should not have survived.”
Constantine will deliver a keynote presentation and will also offer a follow-up breakout session on the Hiring Our Heroes program. For more information, visit the ECIA website.
